Royksopp: “Fortress show will be special”

Belgrade, May, 19. 2010 (Serbia Today) - One of the most influential world groups, Norwegian electronic music band Royksopp are to appear for the first time in Serbia on 10 July at the Exit Festival in Novi Sad. The duo, comprising Svein Berge and Torbjorn Brundtland, will play on the third festival night on the Fortress. Before coming to Novi Sad they said that they are happy about coming to Serbia. “We are thrilled about coming to the festival – somewhere we’ve never played before. We have always wanted to try new things, explore and meet new people,” said Svein for Blic. He said that the band is full of enthusiasm and that they have heard Exit is an excellent festival. “We are eager to come to new places and that’s why we’ll be playing at the Exit festival. Life is too short to be missing out on any chances. We are full”, said Svein. For the upcoming gig the Royksopp announces show full of energy. “Every moment has to be special. We want to have great fun and create a great party. We want energy, chemistry with the crowd”, says Svein and added that they will be playing songs from the latest album “Senior.” “There will be some remixes of songs from Senior we’ve got prepared for Exit. It’s going to be a great party”, promises Svein.
