Serbian “Eagles” in new outfits for South Africa
Belgrade, May, 07. 2010 (Serbia today) – The Serbian national football team unveiled the new uniform, which they will use in the World Cup in South Africa. Coach Radomir Antic said that the players will do everything at the upcoming World Cup to represent the country in the best way.The new red uniform was presented in the Belgrade City Assembly. Organizers called it historic; in this uniform the national football team will play as a sovereign nation in the World Cup for the first time .Antic opined that the uniform is nice, and that its quality lies in emblem of Serbia.I promised that it will be soaked with sweat and we will do everything to represent the country in the best way," said coach. He said that it is good that players have had success in foreign clubs, and praised Ivan Obradovic from Zaragoza who returned to the field after injury. “We are aware that we have little time for preparation, but the World Cup is every four years and each player will have to make the effort”, concluded Antic. Besides the uniform presentation, the team displayed other equipment which team and coaching staff will be wearing on the trip, in the hotel and in training in southern Africa.
